Enhancing the Skills of Paraeducators Second Edition is a video-assisted training program designed to enhance the basic knowledge and performance skills of paraeducators (paraprofessionals). ESP covers a wide variety of instructional situations for K-12 age students with a range of disabilities.

Subject matter is organized into 5 units of instruction with lessons focusing on general skills for paraeducators. After watching the videos, paraeducators participate in exercises and discussion guided by the facilitator. The curriculum is easily adaptable to meet local needs and policies and addresses the training of paraeducators, as required by the 1997 amendment to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
